I was Born and Raised in LaCrosse Wisconsin. Loved the River! 

After High School in 1965; I enlisted in the Navy. I like Water!

As Senior Chief Hospital Corpsman, I Served 28 Years in the US Navy. 4 years Active Duty and 24 years in the Naval Reserve. Never once Stationed on a Ship! Started after Christmas on December 28th 1965.

I attended Basic Training, Hospital Corps School and Staff Naval Hospital, at Great Lakes Illinois.

I attended Field Medical Training with the Marines at Camp LeJeune N.C.          

 

I was in Vietnam from January 7th 1967 – January 7th 1968. Assigned with the 1stMarine Division and Later with the 3rd Marine Division working closely with the Marines.

There is a special symbiotic relationship between Corpsman and Marines. So, you may see me Stand, when they Play, the Marine Corps Hymn and of course the Navy Hymn.  

I am a Retired Postmaster, 35 years in the Postal Service. I worked at the Minneapolis, Wayzata and Long Lake MN Post Offices.

I am currently the 7th District Adjutant and Hospital Representative.
